About Cleanse Breeze

Building a fitness community where everyone belongs and sustainable progress is the priority.

Our Story

Cleanse Breeze began in 2014 when our founder, after years working in commercial gym environments, recognised a significant gap in the fitness industry. Too many people were being pushed through generic programmes that ignored individual circumstances, leading to frustration and eventual abandonment of fitness altogether.

The initial vision was straightforward: create a space where training is personalised, education is prioritised, and people feel supported rather than judged. Starting with just three clients and sessions held in a borrowed studio space, the focus was on proving that sustainable results come from understanding each person's unique situation.

As word spread about this more thoughtful approach, demand grew. By 2016, we moved into our first dedicated facility and expanded the team to include specialist coaches in nutrition, athletic performance, and rehabilitation. What started as one person's response to industry frustration had become a genuine alternative for people seeking something different.

Today, we work with hundreds of people each week, but the core philosophy remains unchanged. Every new team member is selected not just for their qualifications, but for their ability to connect with people and their commitment to long-term client success over short-term dramatic results.

Our Mission

To make effective fitness training accessible to people at every level, providing expert guidance that respects individual circumstances and promotes lasting behaviour change rather than temporary fixes.

Our Vision

A community where fitness is viewed as a lifelong practice that enhances life quality, not a temporary pursuit of aesthetic goals. Where everyone understands how to train effectively and has the support to maintain consistency.

Meet Our Team

Our coaches bring diverse backgrounds and specialisations, united by a shared commitment to client-centred training.

Daniel Foster

Rehabilitation Specialist

Daniel's physiotherapy background makes him invaluable for clients returning from injury or managing chronic conditions. He coordinates with medical professionals to ensure training supports recovery rather than hindering it.

Aisha Patel

Group Class Instructor

Aisha brings infectious energy to group training while maintaining attention to individual form and safety. Her classes are known for being challenging yet accessible, with clear modifications offered throughout.

James Mitchell

Strength Coach

James specialises in helping people build foundational strength safely. His patient teaching style and focus on movement quality make him particularly effective with beginners who find traditional gym environments intimidating.

Our Training Principles

Individualisation Above All

No two people respond identically to the same training stimulus. We assess how your body moves, what your schedule allows, and what actually motivates you before designing your programme. Cookie-cutter approaches might be efficient for the trainer, but they rarely serve the client effectively.

Progressive Overload

Improvement requires gradually increasing the demands placed on your body. This doesn't always mean adding weight - we might increase repetitions, improve movement quality, or reduce rest periods. The key is systematic progression matched to your recovery capacity.

Movement Quality First

Loading poor movement patterns leads to injury. We emphasise learning to move well before moving heavy. This might feel slow initially, but it builds a foundation that allows for years of safe training rather than months followed by breakdown.

Sustainable Intensity

Training should be challenging enough to drive adaptation but manageable enough that you can maintain consistency. We're wary of programmes that leave you exhausted after every session - that's not optimal for most people's lives or goals.

Holistic Recovery

Training is only one variable in your fitness equation. We discuss sleep, stress management, and nutrition because these factors determine whether your body can actually adapt to the training stimulus you're providing.

Education and Autonomy

Our aim is to teach you to train independently. While we enjoy working with long-term clients, our success is measured by your growing competence and confidence, not by creating permanent dependence on our supervision.

What We Value

Honesty Over Hype

The fitness industry is saturated with exaggerated promises and manipulative marketing. We commit to honest communication about what training can achieve and realistic timelines for reaching goals. This sometimes means having difficult conversations about expectations, but it builds trust and prevents disappointment.

Progress Over Perfection

Consistency matters more than intensity. We celebrate the person who trains twice weekly for a year over the person who trains six times weekly for a month before burning out. Small, sustainable steps accumulate into significant change.

Compassion and Understanding

Life interferes with fitness plans. Work stress, family obligations, illness, and unexpected events are normal. We help clients navigate these interruptions rather than treating them as failures. Your relationship with fitness should be flexible, not fragile.

Continuous Improvement

Sports science evolves, and so should our methods. We regularly review our approaches against current research and client outcomes. If something isn't working, we change it. Tradition is not sufficient justification for maintaining ineffective practices.

Our Commitment to You

When you choose to work with us, you're not just purchasing training sessions. You're gaining access to a team genuinely invested in your long-term success.

We commit to designing programmes that fit your life, not forcing your life to fit a predetermined programme. We commit to being honest about progress, challenges, and realistic timelines. We commit to treating you as an individual with unique circumstances, not as a number on a membership roster.

Most importantly, we commit to helping you develop the knowledge and confidence to maintain fitness independently, even if you eventually move on from working with us. Your lasting success matters more than our ongoing revenue.
